Happy Halloween Pumpkin Face: Three Triangles and a Questionable Smile

Some Halloween designs try very hard.

Bats. Cobwebs. Moonlight. Three witches. A haunted house. Possibly a Victorian child staring at you from a window for no reason.

This one has three triangles and a mouth.

And somehow everybody immediately knows exactly what it is.

Which is kind of impressive when you think about it.

Humans can spend hours carving an actual pumpkin.

Choose the perfect one. Cut the top off. Pull out all the disgusting pumpkin guts. Carefully carve the face. Light the candle. Put it outside.

Then watch it slowly collapse into itself over the next week like it has completely lost the will to live.

Or…

You can reduce the entire idea of Halloween to:

Triangle. Triangle. Smaller triangle. Questionable smile.

Done.

That’s probably why I like this design.

It doesn’t need explaining.

Put that face on orange and suddenly it’s October.

Put it on a mug, pillow, sticker, print, tote, shirt or basically anything else and apparently the object has now agreed to participate in Halloween.

No pumpkin required. No knife. No seeds stuck to the kitchen counter. No slowly decomposing vegetable sitting by the front door.

Just the face.

Simple. Slightly stupid. Immediately recognizable.

If you like your Halloween decorations uncomplicated and just a little ridiculous, you can find the Happy Halloween Jack-o’-Lantern Face design on Redbubble
