Why I Started Creating Cavalier Merch

We got a dog for our daughter.

That was the plan.

In reality, everyone attached immediately.

Me, my husband, and our daughter — same reaction.

No transition.

She just... fit.

In both mine and my husband's charts, Uranus rules the 6th house and sits in the 4th.

In our daughter's chart, Uranus rules the 3rd house and sits in the 5th.

For me and my husband, what begins as care, routine, and responsibility naturally becomes part of home and family life.

For our daughter, it shows up through joy, playfulness, affection, and the simple happiness of having a companion she adores.

Different symbolism, same result.

Golda didn't stay "the family dog" for very long.

She became part of the family itself.

What started with photos, funny moments, and everyday memories slowly turned into creative inspiration. I found myself making little notes about her personality, creating a simple one-minute dog log, sketching design ideas, and collecting concepts for future projects.

Eventually, one idea led to another.

So I decided to create a growing collection of Cavalier-inspired merchandise dedicated to the breed that completely stole our hearts.
